Review, approve, and sign each month to keep fieldwork audit-ready
BACB requires that a qualified supervisor attests to each period of fieldwork. In Supervision Studio that happens through the monthly sign-off: hours move from logged, to reviewed, to a signed and locked attestation.
Throughout the month the supervisee logs fieldwork hours against an active contract. Each entry is created with a pending review status.
From your review queue, approve each entry or request a revision. The supervisee can edit and resubmit anything sent back. Approving confirms the hours and supervision contacts are accurate.
Once the month’s hours are approved, sign the month. Signing records a dated attestation that you supervised the work and locks the period so no further hours can be added or changed.
If something needs fixing after signing, a supervisor can reopen the month, which unlocks it for edits and re-review. Reopening is logged so the audit trail stays intact.
A signed month can be exported as a BACB-aligned PDF for the supervisee’s documentation and your own records.
Signing each month while it's fresh keeps the 5% supervision requirement and contact types verifiable, and avoids a scramble at certification time.
